Partners

The strategy behind our market position.

Our expertise lies in complex workspace decisions: the choices organisations make before design and construction set the direction. Translating that expertise into a distinct market position, a sharp proposition and a coherent commercial direction is a discipline of its own. For that work we engaged this is MAIN.

    Rationale

    Why this combination works.

Future Workspace Group holds the substantive knowledge: workplace strategy, office transformation, headquarters development and the alignment of the stakeholders who live with the outcome. That expertise is ours, and it stays ours.

What MAIN adds is senior strategic direction on a different axis: which market deserves priority, why a client would choose us, how proposition and commercial structure connect, and how all of that is expressed consistently. Independent judgement on those questions is difficult to exercise from inside your own firm.

    Role

Where this is MAIN was involved.

The collaboration concerns the strategic direction of Future Workspace Group as a firm, not the content of the advice we give clients.

    Market and audience choices
Deciding which segments, organisation sizes and investment scales we serve, and which we deliberately do not.
    Positioning and proposition
Sharpening what we stand for as an independent strategic partner, and how that position differs from design, build and fit-out parties.
    Commercial direction
Aligning proposition, service structure and the way a first client conversation is conducted, so they follow one direction rather than several.
    Digital positioning
Translating that direction into our digital presence: structure, content and findability, so the positioning is recognisable at every point of contact.
    Independent review
Periodically testing the chosen course critically, before larger commitments are made.
    About

    About this is MAIN.

MAIN is a strategic marketing partner for established companies in the interior and real estate sector. It works alongside the management of those companies rather than inside their organisation: setting direction on market, audience and positioning, assessing plans and investments before they are committed, and guarding the course over time.

Execution stays with internal teams and specialised partners; decision-making and results stay with the client. MAIN is a two-partner firm, combining brand and positioning expertise with commercial growth and measurability.

More about their approach and engagement formats can be found on the website of this is MAIN.

    Independence

    Our independence is unaffected.

Independence is the reason clients retain us: we do not design, build, fit out or sell furniture, and our advice carries no execution interest. That principle is unchanged by this collaboration.

MAIN's involvement concerns the market positioning and commercial development of Future Workspace Group itself. MAIN is not involved in client engagements and has no role in the advice we give to clients, architects, designers, suppliers, Design & Build parties or other stakeholders. Those recommendations are made solely on the merits of the case.

    Strategy Session

Before the first decision is made.

A strategy session is the moment to clarify your context and the strategic choices around your workspace investment, before design and construction set the direction.
