The decisions before the project decide the project.
Future Workspace Group exists to bring strategic discipline to the months that come before design and construction begin — the period in which most multi-million workspace investments are quietly committed to the wrong direction.
Strategy precedes execution.
We believe the next decade of corporate workspace will not be defined by the firms that build the offices, but by the organisations that take the time to decide — clearly and independently — what their workspace should achieve. The work we do sits in that earlier, more consequential phase.
Our remit is workplace strategy, office transformation, office development and the alignment of the stakeholders who will live with the outcome. We are retained by leadership teams who treat the workspace as a long-term lever for growth, culture and operational performance — not as a procurement exercise.
Where we sit in the project.
We are independent. We do not design, build, fit out or sell furniture. That separation is deliberate: it keeps our advice structurally free from execution interest, and it allows us to act as the trusted reference point when architects, contractors and internal teams need to be aligned around one direction.
Engagements typically involve workspace investments between €1M and €25M+ for organisations with 200 to 5,000 employees. We accept a limited number of clients per year and work most effectively with leadership teams willing to revisit the assumptions before the design is already half-decided.
